The history of witchcraft in America from the Salem witch trials through to the present day. Light bumping to corners, very faint reading crease to spine, laminate layer lifting slightly at top of front wrapper, internally clean and tight, a near very good copy £3.50

Farrar, J. & S; The Witches Bible, Phoenix 8vo pbk. 1996, 192pp including index & 10 + 349pp including index, both with illustrations in the text and plates; the texts of Eight Sabbats for Witches & The Witches’ Way, together forming a comprehensive practical account of the rites and ceremonies of Gardnerian Wicca. Very faint, hardly noticeable reading crease to spine, a couple of trivial marks to covers, internally clean and tight, very good + £8

Farrar, J & S, Spells and How They Work, 1990, B.C.A 1993, large 8vo, black cloth with gilt titles to spine, 191pp, with a few illustrations in the text + 4pp plates, a practical guide within the framework of modern Wicca. Minor soil mark to lower part of rear board, faint soiling to edges of text block, internally clean and tight, very good in good + (some light edge creasing, lower part of rear panel lightly soiled, and marked with a couple of small closed splits) d/w £3.50

Simple spells for healing, love, success, etc. Covers slightly rubbed, rear cover lightly marked, contents clean and tight. Very good £1.50

W15D. Hutton, R, The Triumph of the Moon, 1st edition, O.U.P 1999, reprinted, 8vo, navy blue cloth with gilt titles to spine, 16 + 486pp including index. Despite the author’s trust in certain unsound ‘occult authorities’, the work remains an otherwise excellent, scholarly, comprehensive, and much needed history of modern pagan witchcraft. Top edge of text block a little darkened and soiled; slight damage without loss to outer margin of a couple of leaves with faint indentation to a very few margins either side (manufacturing fault?) but otherwise a very good + clean and tight copy  in very near fine d/w £10

Spine slightly bumped at head and tail, edges of text block spotted, some occasional foxing, mainly to upper margins, text relatively clean overall, a near very good copy in very good + (some faint shelf rubbing) d/w £6

Ladurie, E Le Roy, Jasmine’s Witch, 1st American edition, 1st printing, George Braziller 1987, 8vo, light grey cloth with purple foil titles to spine and front board, 10 + 222pp including index + 5 plates and 2 maps (one double page), translated from the French by Brian Pearce; the reality behind a 19th century story of witchcraft in 16th century Gascony; minor spotting to cloth, small mark to front end paper otherwise internally clean and tight, very good in like (a little minor wear to edges) d/w £8
