The author’s first published account of his pioneering investigation into the zombi phenomenon of Haiti. Includes material on Vodou and Haitian secret societies. Top edge of text block a little soiled, otherwise near fine in like (some trivial edge rubbing, crease to lower corner of front inner flap) d/w £6

Includes useful glossaries, one on voodoo terminology, the second on Haitian plants, their medicinal and magical uses. A couple of minor marks to covers. Edge of text block soiled, minor spots to a couple of margins, text clean and tight. Very good  £8

Ex lib, file number to spine, ink stamps to title page, ticket pocket to rear paste down. Spine ends and corners worn. Text clean and tight. Good + £18
