Pelton, R, Helping Yourself with White Magic, 1st edition, Original Publications 8vo pbk. 1998, 6 + 91pp; spells for love, luck, money, etc, based upon American hoodoo techniques; a few minor marks to covers, faint flattened out crease to lower corner of last few leaves, text clean and tight, still very good overall £10

Voules, E.M, African Witchcraft as found in Pemba Island, new and revised edition, Universities Mission to Central Africa stapled Cr8vo pbk. no date c.1931 (U.M.C.A little books number 6), upper wrapper lettered and decorated in black, 32pp, with one full page illustration and text illustrations to the beginning and end + 4pp plates. A short account of traditional East African magic and witchcraft as still practiced during the early 20th century on Zanzibar’s lesser known neighbour, long famous as home to the most feared witches. Slight crease marks to rear cover and upper corner of front cover, a few minor spots to covers, faint crease marks to upper corner of last couple of leaves, staples rusting causing some tiny iron spots to inner margins in places, text clean and tight, overall a good + and textually better copy of a rare item; completely out of print since this second edition with WorldCat only locating a total of four copies across the two issues £35
