Excellent and well respected study of all aspects of Haitian voodoo. Slight knock to fore edge of text block, still a v.good +, clean, tight copy in v.good (very minor edge wear, one small tear) d/w £25

V3. Seabrook, W.B, The Magic Island, 1929, Harrap 1931, 8vo, decorated black cloth, 320pp + 19 full page illustrations and 16pp plates. A little sensational in parts, but never the less an interesting first hand account of voodoo practice in Haiti. Some very light spotting to first and last few leaves. An unusually fresh, clean and tight copy. V.good + £18
