Heilbron; Dee’s Propaedeumata Aphoristica (1558 and 1568) given in the original Latin with English translation, notes and bibliography. Light rubbing to corners and tail of spine, some very occasional neat pencil underlining and brief marginal notes otherwise internally and externally clean and tight, a very good + copy of this uncommon title in very good (a few minor marks to front panel, very slight fading to spine panel) d/w £60

Drummond, W, Oedipus Judaicus, 1811, Bracken 8vo pbk. 1996, 72 + 381pp + 16 plates (on ordinary paper).  A series of dissertations on Genesis and the books of Judges and Joshua that attempt to show them as astronomical allegories, together with a preliminary notice on ancient astronomy.  Edges of covers lightly rubbed, crease to lower corner of rear cover, slightly affecting corners of last few leaves, text lightly tanned, otherwise clean and tight. Good + £2.50
