Parkins, J, Artes Magicae: the Ancient & Occult Secrets of the Meneroth, 1805, 1st edition thus, Mandrake press 2017, large 4to, black cloth with copper titles to front board, 140 + 38pp, with diagrams and other illustrations in the text, some coloured, number 55 of a limited edition of 200 copies for general release (there was also a private edition of 26 copies). A reprint of a curious 19th century work based on the author’s system of practical magic based around his own unique version of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, together with n introduction and related material by Peter Mills. Now out of print, this copy has a slight binding fault in that the spine sits slightly raised at the top, but otherwise near mint £45
